If you want to form a habit, you need to focus on the cues and rewards, and what is the environment will trigger that behaviour, and then how are you rewarding yourself at the end of that routine, because that’s going to make it easier and easier for that behaviour to unfold. this is how your brain makes that into this kind of automatic response.
Bad habit existed because it provides rewards.
